LATITUDE is excited to be kicking off 2019 with a hybrid critique/reading group based around The Photographer’s Playbook! Jessica Pierotti will take participants through photo-based exercises & experiments in a casual critique environment. This program is designed to help loosen up your creative process, develop your photographic skills through quick deadlines, & spark inspiration as you work through projects with your peers. All experience levels welcome. Start the new year off strong making new images in new ways!

The group will meet bi-weekly on Thursdays from 6 - 9 PM starting January 24th & ending on May 2nd (a total of 8 sessions).

Participants will receive a discount on printing (no daily membership fee + 15% off all ink charges) throughout the duration of the workshop, as well as their own copy of The Photographer’s Playbook to keep!

Jessica Pierotti, the outgoing Executive Director at LATITUDE, is an interdisciplinary artist, photographer, and educator with an MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She additionally works as an Instructor in the Photography Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jessica sees the classroom as a space for experimentation and learning, for herself as well as her students, and runs a positive, encouraging, but critical classroom.
