Grace Coudal
Grace Coudal is a Chicago-based artist and working photographer. Her work explores soft moments of intimacy and identity. Utilizing film photography as a way to archive the present and add to the current queer visuality of Midwest culture, Coudal seeks to document tender and subtle moments with her various subjects, exploring interiority and exteriority. She received her BFA in Art & Design and her minor in Sexuality & LGBTQ+ Studies from the University of Michigan. She has experience leading critique groups and photography workshops, and had the privilege of studying with some of her early inspirations, including Catherine Opie and Jess T. Dugan.
