Rosondunnii Marshall is the founder and curator of The Darkroom Chicago, a Black mom–led community darkroom and creative space rooted on the South Side. She is an artist, educator, and licensed marriage and family therapist whose work sits at the intersection of healing, storytelling, and image-making.

Through The Darkroom Chicago, Rosondunnii is building a home for film photography that centers Black image-making, intergenerational connection, and collective memory. Her curatorial vision honors the technical craft of analog processes while pushing photography as a tool for self-expression, connection, and cultural preservation.

Committed to accessibility and community ownership, she creates pathways for youth, adults, elders, and artists of all levels to step into the darkroom, pick up film, and tell their own stories with dignity and power.
