FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER, 29th, 6-8pm | RSVP
Join us on September 29th to give a warm Chicago welcome to our international Artist in Residence for a talk about her current series, Perpetual Inventory of the Self.
This project focuses on three historic doll houses that Lein is employing to address personal, private and exhibition spaces. During her residency, she has been focusing on the Colleen Moore Dollhouse (in the collection of the Museum of Science and Industry) and collecting early warehouse catalogues from the same time period. During this talk, Lein will be going through her research process, showing what objects she has collected, and sharing a pop-up exhibition of works in progress!
