Join us for “Body Talk”, an experimental panel and event hosted by Amina Ross in partnership with LATITUDE Chicago. Ross invites local vendors, artists, and practitioners in fields such as performance art, BDSM, sculpture and sex education to lead a discussion around liberatory practices. Throughout the event, the panelists Gnat Rosa Madrid, Marcela Torres, Cameron Clayborn, Danielle Boachie, and Sarah Bernstein will focus on approaches to the body as a concept and material reality.
As an April resident at LATITUDE Chicago, Ross reflected on ways their/her practice can facilitate exchange and push the boundaries of our physical presence. This event seeks the creative space for cross-disciplinary discussions around liberating, healing, and abstracting the human body.
This event is free and open to the public.
