Joshi Radin Flores - Solarscape (Palabora)

$150.00

Solarscape (Palabora), 2024

Anthotype
22 in x 30 inches

I began the Solarscapes project in 2022 out of an interest in the material histories of photography, and a desire to move towards more sustainable materials. I source images from Google and NASA’s satellites, mostly. At first, I focused on large-scale solar fields, and later, open-pit copper mines and lithium fields. I’m interested in energy transition, material histories, and the impermanence of these images, which cannot be fixed.
