Inkjet Print on Paper
11 × 14 inches
This photographic series marks my return to the furry community; the first convention I’ve attended since 2019 that met a socially disastrous end. After years of isolation, both socially and creatively, this project became a deeply personal reentry into a space of shared queer joy, identity, and connection.
Traditionally, I’ve worked more intimately with portraiture; primarily photographing my own queer awakening and my queer relationships. But with this work, I stepped out of that introversion and into a collaborative, more present way of making. These images reflect conversations, laughter, quiet moments, and renewed trust.
The convention became a vibrant setting for that exploration: a space where self-expression is celebrated, and where love and belonging thrive across boundaries. At its core, this series is about queer love, community, and the radical act of being seen and accepted as you are. This project is a document of that space; but more importantly, it’s a thank-you. To the people who allowed me in, to the friends who became collaborators, and to the community that reminded me what connection can feel like.
The prints are editioned by limited time, available only from October 15 - December 15, 2025. After this date, this image will not be made available in this format again.
