Intro to Fabric Printing

This tutoring session is ideal for DIY users already print certified either at LATITUDE or elsewhere who want to experiment with printing on fabric on our Canon-Pro 4000 printer.   *** This tutoring session is required for printing on fabric on the Canon. 

  • This tutoring session covers the basics of printing on the Canon printer, how to load fabric, and print on Jacquard inkjet coated fabrics.

  • The tutor will go over best practices for trimming and packaging fabric pieces.

  • Included in the price of the session is a test strip of one image. Additional prints and packaging materials will be charged at Latitude’s normal DIY rates. 

After these topics have been covered the lab user is free to continue printing for the time slot. Materials will be charged at the normal fabric and ink fees but the day rate is included in the tutoring session and does not need to be charged again.

This 1 hour, one-on-one session will be scheduled individually with the Education Coordinator. After purchasing this workshop, they will follow up with you via e-mail with dates and times within your provided availability.

** Note that the workshop is 1 hour but a fabric print can take 2 hours to dry. It is up to the DIY user to plan their appointment accordingly.

Refund Policy: For all LATITUDE courses, full payment is required to reserve your spot in the class. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, LATITUDE can provide a 100% refund for cancellations made 10 days prior to the start date of the course. Cancellations made with less than the 7 day notice will be given a 100% lab credit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of class run will be given a credit for 50% of the purchase price which can be used for any lab purchases, including re-enrollment, in the future. No refund for cancellations made on the start day of the course and will be considered a donation to the space.
