National Forests are public lands that are a branch of the United States Department of Agriculture. This year, the Forest Service has opened up a massive amount of National Forest to clear cutting and mass spraying of glyphosate by commercial timber companies. We can still fight to preserve these old growth forests. Please contact your congressional representatives.
Thoughts on the lab
When I was in residency, I was in my studio every day, with my dog, Human. It was such a dream to work at Latitude and neighboring LMRM! My work benefitted from the reflective and immersive time to consider the materiality of my practice of image-making. The body of work that I was focused on at Latitude will be exhibited at Watershed Art + Ecology in Chicago in 2027.
