Xi Li
Xi Li is an artist who works across printmaking, photography, painting, and installation to explore image-making processes and the construction of alternative narratives in contemporary culture. By layering printed surfaces, archival images from circulated printed matter, and translucent materials like silk organza, her work examines how images accumulate meaning, resist it, and eventually become something else entirely.
Thoughts on the lab
My time at Latitude gave me the space and technical support to work intensively and efficiently. Having access to high-quality printing facilities and a responsive production environment allowed me to quickly test, refine, and realize new works.
