Nyeema Morgan is an interdisciplinary artist whose works are characterized by an interplay between text, image, and object. Through formal juxtapositions she grapples with the mechanics of representation and signification through jokes, recipes, canonical artworks, fables, and traps. Morgan’s works are a close study of the composition, structural forms, and sensual aesthetic of image and object distribution.
