Words from john neff

I first used a modified flatbed scanner as a camera to make work I printed during my 2012 residency at Latitude. I’ve recently returned to the device, working with performers to produce photographs through touch, movement, and pressure. These images become source material for composite figures assembled with AI in relation to compositional types from Western art history.
