Within these images, there is space for mystery, transformation, autonomy, and celebration. There is power in both paying attention and being noticed; beauty emerges in that exchange—a beauty that is at once disorienting and psychologically complex. For beauty to truly exist, it must require contrast. For me, beauty is as much about how it appears as what it signifies; its meaning is something I claim and create for myself. I craft beauty as a mirror—abstract, complex, and subjectively marvelous—reflecting the people and culture that shaped me.

My time at Latitude was most helpful in connecting me to a community of image makers and sharing their expertise. It also gave me focused time to print large images.
